CBRF Live Training

We come to your facility! We travel all over Wisconsin, training caregivers in Community-Based Residential Facilities and Adult Family Homes. We are dedicated to providing you with quality services and the training you need to work in assisted living.

We are authorized to offer the CBRF training virtually! Participants who pass the course and meet the requirements will be added to the registry. Please contact us for more information about getting your employees trained virtually! Costs for the virtual training may vary from what is listed below.

If you are interested in our on-site training, please contact us.  Juneau County and Monroe County facilities receive a 10% discount for 6 or more participants and a 20% discount for 10 or more participants.  All other counties (within 100 miles) receive a 10% discount for 10 or more participants.  Please note that counties over 60 miles one-way incur a small mileage fee.

Medication Management

This course provides hands-on training in a variety of medication administration techniques. In addition to the hands-on training, a final exam is required. The fee for this class is $225 plus the $25 registry fee per employee. The cost includes all class materials. This training lasts 11 hours and will be split between two days, with lunch breaks resulting in 5-6-hour days (medication courses cannot be completed in one day). Participants must be present for the entire class.

Requirements and Additional Information

Classes are instructor-led and held online in real time.  Attendance is mandatory throughout the course; cameras must remain on, and a functioning microphone is required to actively participate.

Participants must submit a copy of their driver's license or state photo ID before they can be added to the State Registry. This requirement ensures proper identification.  Copies of the identification must be emailed to the instructor prior to the training session.

In addition to active participation in the online course, participants must score at least 90% on the final exam.  In addition to the final exam, participants must successfully complete a skills practice as part of the medication course.

Some courses require an in-person follow-up with the instructor to ensure learning objectives are met and retained.  Examples include practice with a fire extinguisher or practice administering medications.
